POP BRISCOE'S MULTI-ETHNIC BAKERY

MARIA ran into the bakery and locked the door. She had more on her mind than just ordering Danish and Swedish cookies. She had just lost her stalker about 5 blocks away. Her cell phone was dead. She was a nervous wreck.

She glanced over at Pop Briscoe's counter. 1...2...3...4...5...customers sipping coffee and munching on Mexican pan dulce...sweet bread. Pop Briscoe on his laptop as was his custom at the 9:30 am to 10:30 am time frame. The middle aged man had discovered facebook and You Tube.

She caught his eye and informed him that she wanted the usual and some empanadas. Could she borrow the cell phone? Sure.

She called the police. The stalker was dumb enough to leave his business card...actually he dropped it by accident as he had come up to the door of her apartment. He thought she was not home and had wanted to sit by her door. Maria had slipped out the back door of her apartment. He heard her slam the door and ran to his car to persue.

THE stalker drove into the bakery parking lot when he saw her vehicle. Nuts! She had taken her boyfriend's DJ service van. Bad move. This psycho had memorized the license plates.

MARIA ran for the kitchen...into the arms of her boyfriend....a police officer who was a part-time baker for Pop Briscoe!

Back-up was 2 blocks away.....they were headed for the bakery for....doughnuts.....yep...doughnuts!

Take stalking seriously. Do not dismiss it as "nothing".
